Why are Women Sports Important?

Historically, women are often depicted as damsels in distress. They are in need of a knight in shinning armour to captivate them, to save them from dreadful boredom and to take care of them. Today, a little of that is still in us. However, we can empower ourselves to break the stereotype. One way is through competitive and non-competitive sports.

Sports can be classified in two ways, team sports and individual sports. Team sports such as, basketball, volleyball and soccer are in need of people to play. These are the typical numbers; five on a basketball team, two or six on a volleyball team and a soccer team needs eleven players. Team sports instills many positive character traits in individuals. These traits can be good sportsmanship, getting along with others, dependency on others to do their part or play their position, trust building and group dynamics just to name a few. Individual sports is just you. You have to be the one to go the distance. A few good individual sports are; jogging, bicycling, swimming, golf, dance and weight training. They instill self-motivation, self-sacrifice, self-determination to stay active and to continue.

Being active in any sport is good. The benefits are many.

Ill list a few: better oxygen volume, toned muscles, maintenance or a better ideal weight, induce sleep, release of feel good hormones, prevention of disease, better focus and vision. So what ever you decide make play apart of your day.

An Overview Of Some Of The Point Show Classes

Puppy classes are for Shih Tzu nine months of age and over but under twelve months. The Shih Tzu must be whelped in the U.S.A.

The Novice class is for Shih Tzu six months of age and over. The Shih Tzu must be whelped in the U.S.A. or Canada and Havent prior to the closing entries won three first prizes in the Novice Class, a first prize in Bred-by-Exhibitor, American-Bred or Open Class, nor one or more points toward a championship title.

The Bred-By-Exhibitor Class is for Shih Tzu whelped in the U.S.A. which are six months of age and over, not champions and who are owned wholly or in part by the person or the spouse of the person who was the breeder or one of the breeders of record. Shih Tzu entered into this class must be handled by an owner or by a member of the immediate family of an owner.

The American-Bred class is for all Shih Tzu except champions six months of age or over, whelped in the U.S.A. by reason of a mating that took place in the U.S.A.

The Open class is for any Shih Tzu six months of age or over, except in a member specialty club show held for only American-Bred Shih Tzu in which case the class is for American-Bred Shih Tzu only.

Winners Dog and Winners Bitch: After the above classes have been judged, the first place winning Shih Tzu are required to compete in the ring. The male Shih Tzu judged "Winners Dog" is awarded the points toward his championship title.

Reserve Winners are selected immediately after the Winners dog. In case of a disqualification of a win by the AKC, the Reserve Dog (male Shih Tzu) movers up to Winners and receives the points. After the male Shih Tzu classes are judged, the bitch Shih Tzu classes are called.

Best of Breed or Best of Variety Competition is limited to Champions of Record or Shih Tzu dogs (with newly acquired points, for a 90-day period prior to AKC confirmation) which have completed championship requirements, and the Winners Dog Shih Tzu and Winners Bitch Shih Tzu (or the dog award Winners if only one Winners prize has been awarded), together with any undefeated dogs which have been shown only in non-regular classes; all compete for Best of Breed or Best of Variety (if the bred is divided by size, color, texture or length of coat hair, etc.).

If your Shih Tzu wins his class, the rule states: You are required to enter classes for Winners, Best of Breed and Best of Winners (no additional entry fees).

Make Money on eBay - Identify your Target Buyer

To make money on eBay requires a great deal of upfront investigation and research. It requires that a seller know the marketplace well. There needs to be a solid market niche with ready, willing and able buyers. But that is only half of the story. Success also requires that sellers know about their target buyers.

To make money on eBay requires that success sellers know their target buyers. What items do they want and need? When do they prefer to shop? What information are they seeking about items before they will buy? Are there any special requirements such as special features that they expect to be included with the items they purchase?

Targeted buyers need to be eagerly waiting for the items that you sell. They need to have the means to make the purchase when they find the right items. But how is a seller who wants to make money on eBay going to identify anything about the target buyer for their product?

Often the basics can be obtained as a part of market niche and product research. Many product manufacturers list suggested users in their product descriptions, in their product catalogs or on their websites. General online product searches will also often include this information. The eBay site abounds with buyer information as well. If you know the niche and the product you will also have a good feel for the target buyer from prior experience. Finally, as a seller actually begins to make money on eBay by selling the product, buyer demographics will become clear.

Do you want to make money on eBay? Then know your product niche and your target buyers well.
