Royal Accessories For Your Dog

Dogs are definitely mans best friend. It is very easy to see this today, because of the fabulous lives they lead. Who would not want to lie around all day, get scratched behind the ears, and eat all of the good food that humans get to eat on a daily basis? Not only do they get all of these wonderful things, but they also do not have to go to work, cook dinner, or clean the house. I would give anything to be a dog. If this was not bad enough, while visiting the mall I saw that dogs have quite a few accessories available to make their lives even better.

The only accessory that a dog had when I was growing up was a collar, if they were lucky. These collars were nothing fancy, usually just a piece of leather with a buckle on it to allow you to adjust it as the dog grew larger. Now I see collars in every shape, size, and color, and with all different kinds of decorations on them. I have seen collars with the dogs name on them, collars with gemstones on them, and even collars that will play a song when the dog scratches them. These collars are ridiculous, but they are not even the most outrageous extravagance that has been created for dogs lately.

Now a dog has the luxury of sleeping in a nice and soft bed. When I was a child our dog slept on our cold, hard tile, and she liked it just fine. Our dog now has a big fluffy denim bed that is more comfortable than the bed I sleep on. Dogs also have many different types of clothes for them to wear. My dog wears a sweater and actually has a jacket that she wears in the winter so she does not get cold. Whatever happened to dogs growing their winter coat so that they would not get cold? The warm clothes are bad enough, but now dogs have dresses, Halloween costumes, and even feather boas. What is this world coming to? I am not sure, but as long as my wife and others like her are shopping for dog accessories, I am sure that manufacturers will not stop making them! Now if I could just get her to buy ME such nice luxuries...

Atlanta Falcons

If you're like me, and you're a big fan of a sports team, you'll know exactly what it's like. When I'm watching the Atlanta Falcons play, its much more than just a game. When I sit down in the stadium or infront of the TV, I know I'm part of the team, I'm part of something bigger. You'll know yourself. You can feel it in your bones: every yard lost or gained, every result or near miss, you can feel in your blood because your team means so much. And if you're like me and you're a die-hard supporter, you'll know you just can't stop thinking about it.

I bought Falcons wallpaper for my house, I own several different jerseys, and I even have Falcons wallpaper on my computer desktop. You either feel it, or you don't, but if you do, you'll know you have to show your loyal and faithful support at all times.

It was my wife who caused the problems with my wallpaper. She outright objected when I bought it a couple of years ago, as she was the one responsible for the decor in the house. OK, so she had good taste, and she wasn't the type to go for flowers and old-lady patterns. She was more into pastille colors with abstract prints and paintings to complement. But with the Falcons paper, I wanted to show my passion and love for the team. I only wanted to put it in the one room, where I watched most of the games. At least that way I could show my support for my favorite football team, even if it's only for the benefit of myself and my friends.

Eventually, after realizing I was determined and that I wasn't going to submit she let me keep it so long as I promised not to paper any other rooms with it again. I stuck to my word, but I did not stop at decorating with wallpaper. I bought loads of related ornaments like little Falcons helmets and other souvenirs to make a shrine to my favorite team. I can tell the wife hates it but she just doesn't understand. I love my shrine, even though it is only ever for me and my buddies, but I just love showing my passion for the Falcons in any way I can. I simply have to some how show my support for the team.

Champions League Violent Match

The Champions League soccer game between Chelsea and Barcelona ended up with a storm of bottles and trash thrown down to the players and the referee on the game field.

Chelsea will be fined due to unsporting behavior after collecting six cards during the match in Barcelona which final score was a 2 2 draw.

According to a UEFA spokesman, there is an automatic punishment for any team that gets five or more yellow cards in one game. But the amount of the fine will be established until the reports from referee Stefano Farina and UEFA delegate at the game, Wolfgang Thierrichter are ready.

The reports will be examined for comments about the behavior of players from both squads who regularly crowded the referee to push him to make any decisions.

But Chelsea isnt the only one that is in trouble, Barcelona is too, as their fans started tossing bottles over the Chelsea players.

UEFA will wait to see if the referee Farina mentions Frank Rijkaard's post-match antics in his report or Jose Mourinho's elaborate touchline celebrations when Didier Drogba put the ball inside de frame to score the last goal that set the draw.

Now Barcelona is at risk of being the first title-holder to exit the Champions League in the group phase. The game was marked by 10 yellow cards for fouls, arguing and off-the-ball altercations.

Didier Drogba scored in the third minute of added time at the Nou Camp stadium yesterday. Deco and Eidur Gudjohnsen achieved the two goals for the Spaniard team and Frank Lampard scored Chelsea's other goal.
